Here
is a "one-stop-shop" where one can
identify your Congressional representatives; research Congressional
voting records; learn about the issues of the day; and send e-mail
directly to Congress. Contact your state and local elected officials,
contact the White House, and locate media outlets and contacts
in your city and around the nation.

Congress.org also
contains action alerts from many different advocacy groups
in Issues & Action,
a listing of current legislation and votes, and tips on writing
or calling your representatives. Get involved with your fellow
citizens' issues, or post your own. Note:
Any issues that are national in scope are not listed under
a specific state.

Preserving our Equine Heritage on Public Land
Act, which was introduced
by Senator Crapo, November 7, 2007 - 110th Congress - 1st Session.
S. 2283 would preserve the use and access of pack and saddle
stock animals on public land administered by the National Park
Service, and Bureau of Land Management, the United States Fish
and Wildlife Service, or the Forest Service on which there is
a historical tradition of the use of pack and saddle stock animals.

Appealable Decision Notices
Folks, I noticed when scrolling through the Federal Register
that the FS has posted the Newspapers in which they will
post Appealable Decision notices. Other than on the respective
web
sites for Forests or Districts you won't find these decision
notices any where other than the papers listed! I'd suggest
that this list be posted on our respective web sites and
sent out to every chapter.
